Driving down HWY64 through Cary NC the other day I spotted a car I couldn't identify. I'll try to give as many details as possible.
-possibly 50s vintage
-coupe
-big tail fins
-Looked foreign
- first thoughts were Aston Martin, but I could be wrong
The only thing I've found that "might" be it is a Peerless GT, but I remember the tail fins being larger and the front being lower to the ground in the middle.

Pretty sure it's a lambo, dude.

At first sight I thought it to be a Pegaso (Spanish sports car), but a quick internet search returned no Pegaso with a P in the front grille.

This is a proper stretch, but was it a Bristol 404?
Early Sunbeam Alpine w/ Hardtop?
Auto Union 1000SP?
Gotta be a little more specific than 1950s european Coupé with tailfins.

Sunbeam Alpine is a great suggestion, given the vague description.

I posted this on GRM as well and I think we've found the answer, the Studebaker Golden Hawk
